A Healthy Member is a Productive Member

Health is wealth—and the Bukidnon Plantation Service Cooperative understands that well-being is essential for every member to thrive at work, at home, and within the community. As part of our commitment to holistic service, we regularly organize Free Clinic Check-up Days for members and their families. These events are a testament to our belief that access to healthcare is a right, not a privilege.

With the help of dedicated medical professionals and volunteer partners, our cooperative brings quality care directly to the people who need it most.

🏥 Bringing Healthcare Closer to the Community

The Free Clinic Check-up offers a range of services, including:

  • General health consultations

  • Blood pressure and sugar testing

  • Body mass index (BMI) checks

  • Health education and wellness advice

  • Free vitamins or over-the-counter medicine (as available)

  • Referrals for further medical attention if needed

The goal is not just to treat illness but to detect early signs of health concerns and encourage healthy lifestyles among our members.

❤️ Why This Matters

Many of our members work in labor-intensive industries and often put their health second to daily responsibilities. Through this initiative, we:

Remove barriers to basic healthcare, such as cost and distance

Empower members with health awareness and self-care knowledge

Prevent avoidable illnesses through early detection and intervention

Promote a caring, supportive coop culture that looks after every aspect of a member’s well-being

“This isn’t just a medical check-up. It’s a reminder that we’re not alone in taking care of ourselves. Our cooperative is here with us—every step of the way.”

👨‍⚕️ A Team Effort for Better Lives

Our Free Clinic Check-ups are made possible through partnerships with local health units, licensed nurses and doctors, and coop volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise. Together, we serve dozens—sometimes hundreds—of members in a single day, making health care not only accessible but personal.

These moments also open doors to meaningful conversations between coop leaders and members, strengthening our trust and shared goals.

The Spirit of Service

Health care is one of the most powerful ways to show compassion. Through these free clinics, the Bukidnon Plantation Service Cooperative continues to live out its mission of service beyond economics, putting people first and building a stronger, healthier cooperative family.

We believe that when we invest in health, we invest in hope—and hope is what keeps our community going strong.
